Wow, it's been a while

I just realized it has been like forever since I blogged last so I guess I will just blog about what I've been doing.

School has been busy, studying for SATs, student council and honor society fundraisers.

Then there's the haunted house. My dad's business that he owns with my uncles puts on a free haunted house the last part of October. So the beginning of October, I helped set it up and then the end of last month I helped work in it. It's fun, some people that go are a little weird, but it's still fun.

I've been distracted with my pregnant potential step sister (she's a little younger then me). She can't stand the father, he's not interested in being a father, she's not interested in him being a father, she has health issues so she shouldn't even be pregnant, she thought she miscarried but she really didn't but is bleeding regularly, and she's starting to show and is not too happy about it.

I might help my boyfriend with some volunteer work he does at the park. They are sponsoring this sort of Santa mystery hunt and my bf and his geek friends help decorate and set up the park things so he is working on that now. It's kinda fun so I might help.

I work for my aunt's at home bakery and we've been busy working on Thanksgiving items. Who knew one could have so many varities and flavors of pumpkin pie. haha

That's all for now. Come back later for some Archie, yes always Archie, news!

Too Old To Be A Flower Girl?

I am 16, I will be 17 in a couple months. My uncle is getting married next month and I secretly want to be the flower girl. I don't know or like his girlfriend nearly enough to be a maid of honor, so flower girl is really the only thing left.

I don't really want to or think I should be the flower girl, but in a way I have this hidden desire to. I have joked around about it with my uncle a little bit and he said "ok, fine you can be the flower girl". Of course I said I was just joking, but I think he slightly thought I was being serious.

I'm not sure why I secretly want this. I think maybe it's more a desire to be included. My nephew (he turned 2 in August) is going to be the ring bearer, and I think I feel a little out. I've always been a little favored or babied by my uncle.

I know if I really begged, he would actually let me, but I'd be way too embarrassed. Do you think it would be totally ridiculous seeing a teenage flower girl?

Too Young for a Long Term Boyfriend?

So today was my dad's birthday party, tomorrow is his birthday. A couple of my dad's cousins showed up. We hadn't seem them for a while, they live a few hours away. Anyways, one of them has a son a couple years older than me so I was talking to him for a while.

He said I was way too young to be involved with my boyfriend for so long and that I should date around for a while until I am at least in college.

A little back history: I am 16 and my boyfriend is 20 (I will be 17 on New Year's Eve). We started dating like casually over 3 years ago and exclusively for over 2 years). My cousin says that I will regret not being able to "date around" in high school.

I really do not think that will happen. I kind of messed around with a lot of other guys before I started dating him and I am happy with us being together.

I can honestly say I do not miss a thing about not dating boys from my school.

Halloween Costume Here I Come

I have been debating about a Halloween costume. I am 16. I don't trick or treat. I might pass out some candy. I may or may not go to a Halloween party. Any Halloween events I would go to, I don't need a costume. And I already have a pumpkin fairy costume for my dad's haunted house I help with.

But then I saw this while browsing through cute costumes. It must be mine. I've never actually seen Rainbow Bright so I am not a fan of the show, but I LOVE this costume. It shall be mine!

Oh No Archie Say It's Not So.

As apparent through my blog, I have a slight David Archuleta obsession. Well did would be the better word.

I read two things about him recently that have me so confused. First, he prefers blondes. Ingrid is not blonde. Although, he himself may not have said this. It could have come from Pappa Jeff.

Then, the worst part. He is republican. He was supposed to be performing at some republican convention thing. He probably supports Palin. Ugh.

Oh well. I can still look at Hayden.

Look at the cuteness

I found this tonight and I love it so much I had to blog about it.

I usually make my own jewelry, but I am awful with polymer clay. Look at all those little pumpkins. The designer must have spent a lot of time adding all the little faces and textured detail.

I might just have to get it!

"Going Gay"?

Can a bad experience with the opposite sex make one turn to homosexuality?

I ask because my boyfriends brother is now involved with another guy, they are both 17.

He was pretty popular with girls and I never would have thought he would be bi or gay, so I was really surprised.

My step sister had a little thing with him a couple years ago and when she found out she joked that she "turned him". But being more serious, he did recently have a pretty hard break-up with his last girlfriend. That makes me wonder if maybe he was just tired of the drama with girls.

No matter what the reason though, he does seem very happy in his new relationship.
